University of Hawaiʻi, Hilo Campus

The 2018 Loochoo Identity Summit will be held at the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo, Ka Haka ʻUla O Keʻelikōlani (College of Hawaiian Language), Haleʻōlelo.

Established in 1997, UH Hilo’s College of Hawaiian Language, Ka Haka ʻUla O Keʻelikōlani, was named in honor of Ruth Keʻelikōlani Keanolani Kanāhoahoa, the 19th century high chiefess known for her strong advocacy of Hawaiian language and culture.IMG_2767

Protocols

  • No smoking.
  • Remove footwear upon entering Hale ʻŌlelo auditorium.
  • No outside food or drinks, except bottled water or closed containers.
